December 14, Fineko/abc.az. There is no provision in the law that Internet TV will not work without a license.

ABC.AZ reports that Media Development Agency’s chairman Ahmed Ismayilov stated about this during the discussion of the Bill on Media on TV channel ITV.

He noted that Internet TV will work depending on the platform on which TV channels are broadcast:

“If Internet channels want to work, broadcast directly in our apartments, then they will voluntarily apply to us for a license and start their activities. At the same time, it is not necessary that they be broadcast in parallel on platforms such as YouTube, Facebook. The main condition is a 6-hour broadcast, as well as parallel broadcasting on TV channel’s own website.”
