December 13, Fineko/abc.az. German car giant Volkswagen is planning to construct a new plant.

ABC.AZ reports that this plant will be engaged in the production of batteries. It was announced that the plant would be built in Europe.

The company plans to invest about 2 bn euro in the production of batteries.

At that, 2,500 people will be provided with work.

Volkswagen plans to launch two more battery production plants in Europe by 2030.
