Russia again returns tomatoes imported from Azerbaijan

November 18, Fineko/abc.az. Since the beginning of this November Rosselkhoznadzor has inspected 33,481.4 tons of fruits and vegetables received from Azerbaijan and Iran at the temporary storage warehouse ‘Viaduk’ and the Derbent railway station.
ABC.AZ reports that during quarantine phytosanitary control 6 batches of crop production infected with dangerous objects were not allowed to be imported into the territory of Russia.
Among the prohibited products are tomatoes from Azerbaijan (50.3 tons), as well as cauliflower (32.7 tons) and lettuce (13.2 tons) from Iran. The total volume of products that did not enter the Russian market reached 96.2 tons.
