November 3, Fineko/abc.az. Hybrid cars imported in Azerbaijan are exempt from tax.

ABC.AZ reports that in this regard, it is proposed to amend the Tax Code. With the changes, the import and sale of hybrid cars to Azerbaijan with production period of no more than 3 years and engine capacity of no more than 2,500 cu cm from 1 January 2022 will be exempt from taxes for 3-year term.
