October 29, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan has returned over 64 tons of infected potatoes to Iran.

According to the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency (AQTA), the import of 64.15 tons of infected potatoes from Iran has been prohibited.

"A disease was detected in potatoes exported from Iran - brown bacterial rot of potatoes (Ralstonia solanacearum). AQTA has decided to return unusable potatoes to the Islamic republic," AQTA says.
