September 14, Fineko/abc.az. Construction of a new metro station begins in Baku, ABC.AZ informs citing Baku Metro Company’s spokesman Bakhtiyar Mammadov. 

According to Mammadov, preparatory work is currently underway in this direction: "On the agenda are issues related to the construction of the station to become the 4th on the purple line and will bear conditional name ‘B4’. Preliminary preparatory work has been carried out on the territory of the station. This station will also have platforms for 7 cars. Elevators and lifts will be installed at the new station. The public will be informed about this in detail in the near future."

The new metro station will be constructed on the territory of Nasimi district of Baku, next to the Heydar Aliyev Sports & Concert Complex.
