September 7, Fineko/abc.az. According to September’s issue of the Export Review, an increase in non-oil exports was recorded in Azerbaijan in the first 8 months of 2021. Thus, the export of ferrous metals and products made from them increased by 1.5 times, cotton yarn by 3.1 times, sugar by 2.2 times, chemical industry products by 68%, cotton fiber by 88.5%, aluminum and products made from it by 45%.
ABC.AZ reports that during the period of continued normalization, exports in August amounted to $1.6 bn.
Export in the non-oil sector increased by 95.3% up to $230.4 million.
In August 2021 country’s export of foods grew by 53.1% (against the same term of 2020) to $38.3 million and nonfoods by 106.6% to $192.1 million.
