Opening date of first office building of Free Economic Zone in Alat announced

June 29, Fineko/abc.az. The first office building of the Free Economic Zone (FEZ) in Alat settlement will open in March or April 2022.

ABC.AZ reports that the total area of the FEZ is 850 hectares.

"Zone 1 with an area of 198 hectares and Zone 2 with an area of 441 hectares will be located close to the Baku International Commercial Sea Port. Zone 3 with an area of 211 hectares is located 7 km from the port. The first office building for servicing industrial areas will open in March or April 2022, office and residential premises in July next year," the FEZ said in a statement.
