June 1, Fineko/abc.az. The Media Analysis Center conducted a poll among the population from 17 May to 21 May 2021.

ABC.AZ reports that the respondents who took part in the survey also indicated their monthly expenses.

Thus, 64% said they spent 200-500 manats during the month, 14.4% - 500-700 manats, 9.7% - 700-1,000 manats.

Those who spent more than 1,000 manats during the month made up 11.9% of the participants. 59% of the men and 71% of the women covered by the poll said that they spend 200-500 manats a month.

The question asked was to determine what respondents spent the most money on during the month.

The opinions of the participants with the possibility of choosing several answers are as follows:

Food – 82.3%;

Utilities – 47.6%;

Transport – 46.9%;

Clothing and footwear – 35.3%;

Education – 26.5%;

Medical services and medicines – 25.6%;

Cafes and restaurants – 22.9%;

Perfumes and cosmetics - 8.2%;

Beverages and tobacco products - 7.4%;

Household appliances – 4.2%;

Tourism and travel – 3.3%.
