May 26 Fineko/abc.az. New Zealand, the world's largest dairy exporter, has announced an increase in the price of milk it will buy from farmers starting on 1 June.
ABC.AZ reports that if in the mentioned country a kilogram of milk powder was previously bought for $5.29, now 1 kg will cost $6.39.
With an average price of $5.8, more than 10,000 farmers in the country will earn about $8.65 bn.
It was noted that the growing demand is a new stimulus for the economy of New Zealand, which accounts for about a third of dairy exports.
