February 18, Fineko/abc.az. The Ministry of Labor & Social Protection of Azerbaijan has published statistical data on the growth of pensions over the past period.

ABC.AZ reports that over the past 3 years the average monthly amount of benefits has increased by 95% and the maximum amount by 65%, reaching 119 and 150 manats, respectively.

The maximum amount of the scholarship increased by 54%, rising from 1,300 up to 2,000 manats.

The average monthly amount of targeted state social assistance per family grew by 61% up to 240 manats. This growth is also based on the annual increase in the threshold of the need criterion. The threshold of the need criterion in 2018-2020 was increased from 116 to 160 manats, an increase of 38%.

Over the past 3 years the subsistence minimum has increased by 23% – from 155 to 190 manats.
