February 18, Fineko/abc.az. The annual finances allocated for pensions increased by 36% up to AZN 4.48 bn, and annual expenditures on allowances, scholarships and targeted social assistance by 97% up to AZN 1.156 bn.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Ministry of Labor & Social Protection that this positive trend can be traced in the social picture of 2018-2020.

During this period the minimum amount of pensions grew by 82% up to 200 manats and the average monthly amount by 43% up to 298 manats.

The average monthly old-age pension increased by 40% up to 328 manats, the average monthly disability pension by 49% up to 261 manats, and the average monthly pension on breadwinner loss by 46% up to 240 manats.
