Georgia exported 44 tons of hazelnuts to Azerbaijan

February 9, Fineko/abc.az. Georgia has exported 15,600 tons of hazelnuts for $81.2 million from 1 August 2020 to the present day, ABC.AZ was informed at the Georgian Ministry of Environmental Protection & Agriculture.

In annual comparison, the volume of exports increased by 50%, and the cost by 52%.

Over the reporting period Georgian hazelnuts were mainly imported by Germany, Italy, the Czech Republic and other European countries.

Azerbaijan bought the least amount of hazelnuts - 44 tons. Russia imported 756 tons of hazelnuts from Georgia, 530 tons from Turkey, and 885 tons from Armenia.
