February 9, Fineko/abc.az. The quantity of people who illegally visited the occupation-liberated territories after the end of the Patriotic War and were blown up by mines has been announced.

ABC.AZ was informed at the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office that the appeal to citizens says that, despite repeated warnings, the facts of death of people or injuries as a result of a mine explosion in the territories liberated from occupation still occur.

It is noted that in the period from 10 November 2020 to the present 5 servicemen and 9 civilians were killed in the liberated territories as a result of a mine explosion, 52 servicemen and 8 civilians were injured of various degrees of severity.

It is emphasized that until the completion of the work on the mine clearance of the liberated territories, the most stringent measures provided for by the legislation will be taken against persons who illegally visited these territories.
