February 1, Fineko/abc.az. Global Stats has published a report on the popularity of social networks in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ informs that according to the report, Twitter took the first place on the popularity in the country's social media market for the first time. The 2nd place is occupied by Facebook, whose user activity in the country for January 2021 decreased by 0.23% (compared with December 2019).

Facebook's share in the Azerbaijani market as of 1 February 2021 was 20.3% (by 18.5% less against the same indicator of 2020).

In January 2021 the activity of the Instagram users across the country reduced by 4.6%.

As of 1 February 2021 Instagram ranks the 3rd in the social media market of Azerbaijan with a market share of 20.1%. This figure is 0.26% more than in the same period of 2020.

The distribution of shares of other social networks is as follows: YouTube – 19.3%, Pinterest - 13.9%, Vkontakte - 0.45%, Reddit - 0.35%.
