January 29, Fineko/abc.az. The allowance to be paid for school supplies, clothing and shoes to children who have lost their parents and are left without parental care has been increased.

ABC.AZ reports that the relevant decision was signed by Prime Minister Ali Asadov.

Under the decree, in the period of study at the state higher, secondary special and vocational schools and at the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan the purchase of textbooks and teaching aids are provided at the expense of the educational institution or the Academy for the persons from among the children who lost their parents and left without parental care, or in return for these textbooks they are given an allowance of 50 manats (previously, 36 manats). At the end of the state, secondary, vocational, secondary vocational and higher schools and the Academy those children are provided with seasonal clothes and shoes for the sum of 265 manats (27.5 manats previously) and a lump-sum cash at the expense of the cost estimates of the respective institution or Academy.
