January 29, Fineko/abc.az. The export of fruits and vegetables totaled $607.7 million in 2020.
ABC.AZ informs with reference to the January’s issue of the Export Review of the Center for Analysis & Communication of Economic Reforms that exports of cotton fiber amounted to $133.2 million, aluminum & products made from it $113.4 million, chemical industry products $85.2 million, ferrous metals & products made from them $52.4 million, and cotton yarn $19 million for January 2021.
Exports of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages reached $12 million, sugar $26.9 million, fats and oils of vegetable & animal origin $24.7 million, tea $9.5 million.
In 2019, compared with the relevant term of 2020, exports of fruits & vegetables was higher by 0.3%, fats & oils of vegetable and animal origin by 34%, sugar by 0.1%, and cotton fiber by 7.5%.
