Most foreigners stayed in hotels of these districts of Azerbaijan

October 27, Fineko/abc.az. The State Statistics Committee has released some indicators relating to tourism and the hotel sector for Jan-Sept 2020.

ABC.AZ reports that for the past 9 months 76.6% of overnight stays spent by foreigners and stateless persons were registered in Baku, 6.7% in Gusar, 4.6%  in Gabala, 4.2% in Naftalan, 3.5% in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, 2.3% in Guba, and 2.1% in hotels in other cities and districts of Azerbaijan.

The number of overnight stays in hotels on Azerbaijani citizens decreased by 52.8% (compared with Jan-Sept 2019) to 435,500.
