October 14, Fineko/abc.az. French FM Jean-Yves Le Drian rejected calls from a number of parliamentarians and mayors to side with the Armenians in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

ABC.AZ reports that addressing the MPs of the National Assembly of France, the minister stressed that the country will maintain a neutral position on this issue in connection with the status of a mediator in the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

"The OSCE mission in Russia and the U.S. demand from France to take a neutral position," the French FM said. "It is wrong for us to side with one or the other of the two countries," he added.
