Railway line to Gabala to be put into operation soon

September 17, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan Railways (ADY) plans to put into operation a railway line from Leki to Gabala by the end of this year.

82% of railroad construction has already been finished.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to ADY that the one-way railroad line laid to Gabala begins from Leki station of railway line Baku-Boyuk Kesik.

The total length of the new railway line, together with the side tracks, is 44.5 km.

Foreign experts were involved in the design of the railroad, and construction was fulfilled by local specialists.
