August 17, Fineko/abc.az. The measures are being taken to bring Azerbaijani citizens who are abroad to their native country. Due to the threat of the spread of the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), 33 more of our compatriots went home.

The Consulate General of Azerbaijan in Aktau informed thatall our citizens sent on the Mercury ferry by Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company have been tested for the virus.

In general, as of today, 316 people have left Kazakhstan on ships for their homeland.

The Consulate General continues the process of registering Azerbaijani citizens awaiting evacuation.
