ABC.AZ reports that Qualcomm has presented Quick Charge 5.

The manufacturer talks about a significant increase in efficiency, so, according to the company, the charging time of a fully discharged battery with capacity of 4,500 mAh up to 50% will be only 5 minutes, and it will take 15 minutes to fully charge.

Smartphones supporting the new technology are expected to go on sale in the 3rd quarter of 2020.
