July 22, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Jun 2020 thr consumers in the retail chain were sold goods for AZN 18.245 bn, including foods, beverages and tobacco products for AZN 9.729 bn and nonfoods for AZN 8.516 bn.

ABC.AZ was informed at the State Statistics Committee that compared with the 2019 same term the retail trade decreased by 1.9%, including on nonfoods by 6.9% and on foods, beverages and tobacco products - increased by 3.1%.

For the reporting period the average monthly retail turnover per inhabitant of the population amounted to 305.3 manats, or by 2 manats more versus the relevant term of 2019.

In the retail network a resident of the country purchased on average foods, beverages and tobacco products for 162.8 manats per month and nonfoods for 142.5 manats.
