Revenues of the State Social Protection Fund (SSPF) of the Ministry of Labour & Social Protection of Azerbaijan increased by 7% this eyar.

The Ministry reports that Fund's revenues for Jan-Sept amounted to AZN 2.53 bn that is by 7% or AZN 165.49 million more than for the 2016 same term.

"Proceeds from compulsory social insurance for Jan-Sept increased by 8.8% and amounted to AZN 1.5 bn. Revenues from the private sector amounted to 65.13% or AZN 977.7 million of all revenues that is by AZN 105.46 million or 12.1% more than for Jan-Sept 2016, and that means 105.24% of the forecast meeting," the Ministry said.

As of 1 July 2017 Azerbaijan registered 1 330 000 retirees.
