Material assistance to be given to 7,600 people

April 24, Fineko/abc.az. In compliance with the newly-signed presidential decree the participants of the Second World War (WWII) and their widows, persons awarded orders and medals for selfless work in the rear, will be provided with lump-sum financial assistance.

ABC.AZ reports that the above-mentioned statement was made by the Ministry of Labor & Social Protection. In connection with the 75th anniversary of the victory in WWII, the lump-sum material assistance in the amount of 1,500 manats will be financed to the participants of this war.

According to the document, the individuals involved in WWII, will be given a lump-sum aid of 1,500 manats to the widows of soldiers killed or died later of fighters in WWII, persons awarded the orders and medals For Selfless Labor in the Rear, and to the persons awarded by the corresponding medal and the breastplate For Defense of Leningrad during WWII and the siege of Leningrad in the amount of 750 manats.

The order will cover 7,600 people. Of them, 264 participants of WWII, widows of soldiers who died or subsequently died during the WWII, and others, provided for in the document, were awarded orders and medals during this period For Selfless Work in the Rear.
