January 30, Fineko/abc.az. The previously imposed inappropriate bans on targeted social assistance will be canceled in Azerbaijan.
ABC.AZ was informed at the Ministry of Labor & Social Protection that currently when considering the right of a vulnerable family to receive targeted state social assistance, its average monthly income is included debt (including a loan). According to the rules in force until now, if a family member took a loan after social assistance was assigned and information about it was not provided, the payment of social assistance to the family was stopped, and the next time the right to receive social assistance was limited for a period of 1 year.
In the new project the removal of this restriction is reflected in the fact that the loan received by the family is not taken into account as its income, and the general credit does not interfere with the family's right to social assistance.
When applying for address assistance, the amount of data required for registration will also be reduced. Also, information about providing a family member(s) with one or another type of social security (pension, benefit) will not be requested and this information will be obtained from the relevant databases.
It should be noted that the draft document on the amendments to the Law on TSA has already been submitted to the government.
