November 6, Fineko/abc.az. About AZN 200 bn of payments were conducted through electronic payment systems for Jan-Sept 2019.
ABC.AZ reports that Central Bank’s deputy chairman Alim Guliyev told journalist at the 4th International Banking Forum "Cashless Economy: Towards Sustainable Banking".
He stressed that currently there are positive results in e-commerce: "This year the volume of e-commerce amounted to AZN 2.2 bn. The non-cash payments, including card payments, increased by 59% up to AZN 5.3 bn."
