October 21, Fineko/abc.az. E-commerce in Azerbaijan makes up 14% of total trade.

ABC.AZ reports that the statement was made by Minister of Transport, Communications & High Technologies Ramin Guluzade at the 2nd Baku E-Commerce Forum (BEF-2019).

He points out that technological innovations open up new opportunities in e-commerce: "In the next few years it is projected rapidly development of e-commerce in the world. Our country also has the necessary conditions for development of e-commerce. Currently, Internet users in Azerbaijan use foreign e-commerce platforms most of all. Our goal is to increase the share of e-commerce in the domestic market, while promoting our national products, e-commerce to foreign markets."
