October 16, Fineko/abc.az. Over the first 9 months of 2019 the import-export operations between Azerbaijan and Ukraine exceeded $623 million ($115 million more against the 2018 same term).

The Ukrainian State Statistics Committee informs that Azerbaijan exported products to Ukraine for $343 million for Jan-Sept of the year and imported goods from Ukraine for $280 million.

It should be noted that Ukraine occupies the 2nd place in the post-Soviet space on the volume of trade turnover with Azerbaijan after Russia. Last year the import-export operations between Azerbaijan and Ukraine reached $829 million (18 million more versus than a year earlier). In 2018 two countries’ trade turnover recorded the highest figure for the last 5 years.
