September 17, Fineko / abc.az. For 8 months of this year, the volume of import-export operations between Azerbaijan and Ukraine amounted to nearly $580 million, which is 100 million more than in the corresponding period last year.
According to the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine, in January-August, products worth $300 million were exported from Azerbaijan to this country. The cost of products imported by Azerbaijan from Ukraine amounted to $278 million.
Ukraine is the second largest in terms of trade with Azerbaijan after Russia in the post-Soviet space. Last year, the volume of import-export operations between Azerbaijan and Ukraine reached $ 829 million, which is $ 18 million more than a year earlier. Last year, the trade between the two countries recorded the highest rate in the last 5 years.
