May 31, Fineko/abc.az. The presentation of program EU4Digital has been conducted in Baku today within the framework of the Festival of Innovations, organized by the Ministry of Transport, Communications & High Technology and audit company Ernst & Young.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister of Transport, Communications & High Technology Elmir Velizade informed that the preparation of the Cybersecurity Strategy in Azerbaijan is ongoing the last stage. The new strategy will cover the next 5 years.

"At present, Azerbaijan has the relevant legislation on the protection of personal data, but it must be adapted to the Directive of the European Union, that is currently being done," Velizade said.
