September 9, Fineko/abc.az. The construction of national data centers is ongoing in Absheron and Hajigabul.

Amin Nazarli, an employee of the Public Relations Department of Azintelekom LLC, said this at a meeting with journalists.

According to Nazarli, before the start of construction, the company interviewed 150 organizations and identified the need for such centers.

"4 hectares of land have been allotted for the construction of a data center in Absheron. Construction work is currently underway, and we expect to complete it next year," Nazarli said.

He noted that the new data centers will play an important role in the country's information technology sector.
