December 18, Fineko/abc.az. The population of Azerbaijan has increased by 69,645 people since the beginning of the year.

The State Statistics Committee reports that as of 1 November 2018, the country’s population reached 9,967,730 people.

"The population density per sq km is 115 people. Males make up 49.9% and females 50.1% of the population. 52.9% of the population lives in cities and 47.1% in villages," the Committee informed.
