August 18, Fineko/abc.az. In January-July of this year, Azerbaijan produced 220 buses. According to the State Statistics Committee, this marks a 64,2% increase compared to the same period last year. As of August 1, the inventory stood at 28 units.

During the reporting period, total production output for machinery, equipment, motor vehicles, trailers, and semi-trailers reached AZN 248.9 million. Year-on-year, machinery and equipment manufacturing dropped by 73.5%, while output of motor vehicles, trailers, and semi-trailers surged by 88.4%.

Output metrics for other categories of vehicles and equipment:

• Trucks: 511 units (up 2.7 times), inventory — 40 units;

• Passenger cars: 1,881 units (down 17.9% or 411 units), inventory — 128 units;

• Tractors: 298 units (down 3.6%), inventory — 6 units.
