Apple Opens New Advanced Manufacturing Center in Houston

August 14, Fineko/abc.az. U.S. tech giant Apple has announced the opening of a new advanced manufacturing center in Houston, Texas.

The center is located within Apple's Houston facility, which produces and ships advanced artificial intelligence servers and is set to begin Mac mini production later this year.

The advanced manufacturing facility will offer small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) free training in cutting-edge manufacturing processes, machine-learning-assisted quality control, and advanced automation.

The opening event was attended by U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, Senator Ted Cruz, and other officials. Apple CEO Tim Cook highlighted that the company has invested hundreds of millions of dollars into the Houston facility over the past nine months.
