August 13, Fineko/abc.az. AI giant Anthropic is reportedly in talks to acquire Decart, an Israeli startup focused on "world models" and software designed to optimize chip efficiency. Sources note that the deal has not yet been finalized and negotiations could still fall through.

If completed, Decart’s team is expected to join Anthropic’s inference and performance division. The startup's cutting-edge technology could help Anthropic scale its infrastructure to meet demand while lowering AI training costs.

Founded in 2023, Decart develops applications for e-commerce and autonomous driving. Its flagship "Lucy AI" model can modify live video streams in real time to generate high-definition product try-ons. E-commerce giant eBay is both an investor in and a client of Decart.
