August 11, Fineko/abc.az. Vietnamese private aerospace company VinSpace has signed an agreement with U.S.-based SpaceX to launch its domestically developed satellites into orbit in 2027.
According to Vietnamese media reports, SpaceX will transport VinSpace's satellites as part of a rideshare launch mission in 2027. VinSpace will oversee all stages of the project, including research, development, manufacturing, and in-orbit operations.
The agreement will allow local engineers to test Vietnamese-made satellite modules in real orbital conditions. VinSpace CEO Vu Thu stated that the deal represents a key milestone in their long-term strategy to build Vietnam's space ecosystem and strengthen the country's position in the global space economy.
