July 28, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO) transported 13,219 passengers in the first half of 2026 (3.4% more versus Jan-Jun 2025 - 12,783 people).

Most of all passengers were carried in June - 2,944 people (a rise of 25.6% against June 2025 - 2,344 people).

Over Jan-Jun 2026, a total of 8,497 passengers were transported via  Alat-Kuryk and Kuryk-Alat routes: 4,658 people traveled in Alat-Kuryk direction and 3,839 people in Kuryk-Alat direction.

In the 1st half of 2026, 4,722 passengers were carried on the Alat-Turkmenbashi and Turkmenbashi-Alat routes. 2,692 passengers traveled in the direction of Alat-Turkmenbashi and 2,030 people in the direction of Turkmenbashi-Alat.
