U.S. House Approves $1.15 Trillion Defense Budget for Fiscal Year 2027

July 27, Fineko/abc.az. The lower chamber of the U.S. Congress has passed a $1.15 trillion defense funding bill for fiscal year 2027.

The measure passed in a narrow 216–212 vote and now moves to the Senate, where at least 60 votes will be required for final passage.

In addition to the baseline defense authorization, the House approved a supplementary $95 billion spending package. Out of these additional funds, $73 billion is specifically earmarked to support military operations against Iran.
