Airbus plans to increase operating profit up to $13.7 bn by 2029

July 22, Fineko/abc.az. Aircraft manufacturing concern Airbus has overcome delays in production and expects to almost double adjusted operating profit up to €12-13 bn ($13.7 bn) by 2029.

During a presentation to investors in London, Airbus CEO Guillaume Faury said that the civil aviation division would make key contribution to the €10 bn increase in production.

In addition, the company announced a €5 bn share buyback program over the next 3 years.

For this year, Airbus confirmed its short-term targets of delivering 870 aircrafts and generating profit of €7.5 bn.
