July 21, Fineko/abc.az. Several of Azerbaijan's carriers have already established their own hubs in China, said Kanan Gurbanov, the Secretary General of the International Association of Road Carriers of Azerbaijan (ABADA), at a meeting with journalists.

He noted that our carriers have increased their activity in establishing logistics centers in this direction.

"Most of our carriers have established logistics centers in the Chinese cities of Khorgos and Urumqi. These cities also border Kazakhstan, and our carriers carry out the procedure mainly through Kazakhstan," Gurbanov emphasized.

He also shared news with journalists at the meeting. Starting this week, the first electronic TIR park will be established between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan.

"This means that transportation will be faster. Our customs committee is almost a leader in electronic TIR. And after the new e-TIR procedure, the Turkmen customs will expand its activities in some way," Gurbanov said.
