July 20, Fineko/abc.az. Netflix acquired startup InterPositive for $587 million, revealing the amount of the deal in a new report.

The company announced the purchase back in March, but the details were not published.

The project's co-founder, Ben Affleck, noted that the goal is to support the creative process: AI tools help in post-production, including refining scenes, replacing backgrounds and lighting.

The entire InterPositive team has moved to Netflix, with Affleck as a senior advisor. According to the company, about 300 of its projects already use generative AI.
