July 20, Fineko/abc.az. Passengers of domestic flights can now confirm their identity without presenting a physical document, using the mygov app.

For citizens of Azerbaijan, traveling on the Baku-Nakhchivan-Baku route, a new digital registration service has been launched, allowing them to use the mygov mobile app to confirm their identity during flight registration.

With the new service, passengers only need to scan QR code displayed at the registration desk. After reading the list of data to be transferred and confirming the consent in the application, passenger's identity information is automatically transferred to the check-in system, making the check-in process faster, more convenient, and efficient.

The service is already available at Baku and Nakhchivan airports, improving the efficiency of the check-in process and providing more comfortable passenger services. This initiative is part of the digital transformation projects aimed at expanding the use of modern technologies at airports and further improving the quality of passenger services.

The digital check-in service is an alternative option. If desired, passengers can still check in as usual by presenting a physical ID.
