July 13, Fineko/abc.az. The Milli Majlis approved the draft amendments to the Customs Code in the final reading.

According to the new amendments, a certificate of conformity, a declaration of conformity, and recognized documents of conformity of foreign origin, drawn up in accordance with the Law on Technical Regulation in relation to imported goods for which technical regulations and reference standards have been adopted, must be submitted to the customs authorities and checked during customs clearance.

These requirements will apply to imported goods 2 years after the joint entry into force of both the relevant technical regulations and the reference standards.
