July 10, Fineko/abc.az. Construction of new car bridges on three different road sections is ongoing in Garadagh district. All three bridges are designed as single-span.
One of the bridges is being built on the 55th kilometer of border highway Baku-Alat-Gazakh-Georgia, in the territory of Gobustan settlement. Currently, construction work is in the final stage, and preparations are being made for the laying of asphalt concrete pavement.
Another bridge is being constructed at the 13th kilometer of Sangachal-Cheyildag highway. Piles have already been driven for the construction of supports, and preparatory work is being carried out for the concreting of the foundation.
The third bridge is being built at the 2.2nd kilometer of Lokbatan-Guzdek highway. The construction of the first extreme support is currently underway, and the foundation of the second support has already been completed.
The construction of the bridges is being carried out in accordance with building codes and regulations. Once commissioned, the new bridges will provide a more convenient and safe transportation system on these road sections.
