July 2, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan's non-oil exports have doubled over the past 10 years.

Yusif Abdullayev, the executive director of the Azerbaijan Export & Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO), said this at a business forum held as part of the 28th annual meeting of the BSTDB Board of Directors.

"I believe this is a very good criterion and indicator that is a sign of development for the business community. However, there are still problems with business growth. This is one of the important issues that we need to address. As I mentioned earlier, the government provides many support tools."

He noted that the Azerbaijan Business Development Fund is one of the most important organizations that support companies' entry into foreign markets: "Financial and governmental organizations provide significant support for the promotion of Azerbaijani businesses in foreign markets. I think we have quite successful examples of this. Of course, the Azerbaijan State Oil Company is one of the main and important players on a global scale. In addition, other Azerbaijani companies are successfully operating in foreign markets."
