June 17, Fineko/abc.az. Yandex has reached agreements with several hotels in southern and central Russia to integrate smart home systems into hotel rooms. By 2030, the company aims to equip approximately one-third of the country's hotel room inventory with these technologies.

According to ABC.AZ, the systems include Yandex Stations powered by the "Alisa" voice assistant, allowing guests to manage room lighting, climate, and hotel services, alongside setting personalized stay preferences.

Pilot testing is already underway in several properties, including Golden Tulip and Marriott Krasnaya Polyana, among others.

While the project is designed to enhance guest convenience and optimize staff workloads, industry analysts view the integration as a high-cost deployment that currently serves a primarily branding and image-building purpose for the hospitality sector.
