June 16, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-May 2026, Azerbaijan imported 20,109 tons of meat (19,936 tons for Jan-May 2025). Thus, the volume of meat imports increased by 0.9% year-on-year.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to the customs statistics of the foreign trade of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The cost of importing meat has increased.

The statistical value of meat imports in the first 5 months of 2026 reached $47.232 million ($41.133 million for Jan-May 2025). As a result, the cost of meat imports grew by 15% compared with Jan-May 2025.
