June 4, Fineko/abc.az. Demand for semiconductors for artificial intelligence continues to outpace the industry's production capacity, and TSMC predicts that shortage of advanced chips will continue for several more years.
ABC.AZ informs that the head of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company noted that even expansion of factories will not cover the needs of large technology companies. The company remains a key supplier of chips for AI systems, including Nvidia and AMD products.
Investments in AI infrastructure are growing rapidly, and global spending on data centers and cloud services could reach $725 billion per year. Against this background, TSMC expects revenue growth of more than 30% and increases capital expenditures and employee bonuses.
