Russia’s exports of this product to Azerbaijan observed growth by 55% for Jan-Apr

June 1, Fineko/abc.az. In the first 4 months of 2026, Russia increased vodka exports to Azerbaijan by 55%, and the figure exceeded $2.2 million, ABC.AZ reports, referring to federal center Agroexport.

"According to experts, for Jan-Apr 2026, Russia shipped more than 900 tons of vodka worth over $2.2 million to Azerbaijan. Compared with Jan-Apr 2025, exports grew by 42% in weight and by 55% in money," the center says.

The center notes that Azerbaijan ranks 2nd among the largest vodka importers from Russia, behind Kazakhstan, but ahead of Georgia.

"For at least the last 10 years, this is the highest rate of vodka exports to Azerbaijan for the first 4 months of a calendar year," the center added.
